The atmosphere lends itself to total enjoyment for those looking for that get-away weekend in the off-season, or sports and water fun in the summer. There are many places of interest within a half-hour drive to keep you busy and happy on those rainy or cold days. You are away from the commercialization that is pervasive in many major beach communities, yet Misquamicut Beach is nearby when you want it. Close by you will find Watch Hill, an old fashioned New England beach community with fun shopping, a world famous flying horse carousel and fine restaurants. Whatever your interest, you will find a beach style to suit, with many other activities and attractions to entertain.
